How it stacks up, my honest take
The stay was pleasant, with stunning water views and a comfortable king room. The accessible restroom was spacious, accommodating my needs well. The breakfast options were decent, but the coffee selection could improve. The room could use some updates as the furnishings felt outdated. Overall, it met my expectations without any major issues.

dog-friendly accommodations, scenic water view, ample grassy area for pets
The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be significantly improved!!! The dated furnishings and inadequate soundproofing between rooms may detract from your stay, making for a less than comfortable experience.

A Comfortable Spot Near the Water
We enjoyed our stay for one night, especially the helpful front desk staff. The comfortable beds provided a good night’s sleep. For boaters, the location is fantastic, with marinas close by. Don’t miss the Outback restaurant next door for a hearty meal.

We had an amazing time visiting New Bern! The location of the hotel was perfect for watching fireworks across the river, and we loved the comfortable beds. For the price and location, this place is a steal.
In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast options could be better for kids.

Fine, fine, fine
The views were amazing, especially during sunset when the sky danced with hues of pink and orange reflecting on the water. I loved relaxing in my King Room, spacious enough for a cozy family vibe, and the location was super convenient, just a short walk to the charming downtown area! Plus, the turtle feeding activity outside added a playful twist to my stay-what a unique touch!

missingWrote a review on Jul 19waterfront locationoutdoor spacesoutdated breakfastunpleasant odorshigh pricing
The location on the water is ideal for exploring the area, making it conveniently walkable to downtown. Multiple outdoor areas add to the appeal, while the pool provides relaxation. However, the breakfast options felt outdated, especially with powdered creamer. Additionally, some rooms, particularly the pet-friendly options, showed signs of wear and had an unpleasant smell. Pricing seems high for the overall budget experience.
